First off...Deer hunting is said to be one of the hardest animals to hunt because the fact that they have great vision and can spot the smallest of all movements. I have been hunting for about 8 years now and have gotten to notice a lot of different things about deer.
Thing like they can be scared off by little things like the wind, a bird, or just a branch moving that looks suspicious. Deer are said to have the vision 10 times of a human, meaning if you look through a pair of 10x binoculars, this is the vision that deer see. The only difference is that the deer do not see colors. All they see are reds and yellows.
Deer also have a great sense of smell. If you have bad body odor, don't even try to go deer hunting because you won't see jack. They can smell up to 20 times better than the human nose. Now days companies are making it easier on the hunter by making garments that are called Scent Blocking garments which have a charcoal lining inside, to trap all human odors.
So if you ever plan on going deer hunting remember what i said. Don't move and don't stink and you will have a good chance.
Hunting Gear...You always need to be prepared when it comes to deer hunting. You NEED to have camouflage on no matter what you are hunting.
